Meet the Photographer...
Hey y'all! My name is Taylor, and I am a photographer from Lafayette, LA. I am in love with the creative process. From brainstorming innovative ideas to making dreams a reality, I enjoy pushing the limits of "the box".
I'm not what one would consider a conventional photographer probably because I never thought I would become one. I picked up photography to help capture special moments for high school marching band students that deserved to see how talented they were from a different perspective. Since then I have fallen in love with helping others capture the best and most unique perspective of themselves.
Three things you should know about me are:
If we are on a shoot, you will laugh. I believe a photo shoot should be an experience in itself so if I am there, I will figure out what it will take to get that natural laughing smile - even if it means making a fool out of myself!
I’m what you would call a perpetual student. Beyond the fact that I was in school for a long time collecting degrees, I love to learn. I love to try new things. I love being different. That means I’m constantly pushing myself to be a better photographer, creative, and human being.
I like coffee a little too much. The baristas at Reve Coffee in Downtown Lafayette know me by name. I once won a social media contest they were having BY ACCIDENT and got free coffee! I take way too many pictures with my coffee and make coffee at home with a pour over instead of a Keurig purely for the aesthetic.
